£2000 Scrappage Allowance

The UK Government has announced a new 'Scrappage Scheme' which will mean that if you have a car that is 10 years old or older you can trade it in for a selected new car on the scheme and receive £2000. The £2000 is made up of £1000 from the Government and £1000 from the manufacturer. To qualify your vehicle must be first registered in the UK on or before 29th Feburary 2000, it must have been registered to you continuously for 12 months before the order date of the vehicle and the car must have a valid MOT.
