The New Corsa VXR, Vauxhall's ultra-powerful hot-hatch, raises the bar for small, fast hatchbacks, with fierce acceleration of 0 to 60mph in 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 143mph.
Vauxhall has teamed with damper-supplier, Koni, to develop Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) for New Corsa VXR, so body control is maintained at high speed and ride-quality optimised at lower speeds. The steering is more responsive than ever.
New Corsa VXR boasts a rear spoiler, twin Remus exhaust pipes and six exterior colour options, including Flash Blue (unique to this model). Inside, you’ll find standard Recaro seats, a leather flat-bottomed steering wheel and sports pedals, plus VXR gear-lever and instruments. Heated windscreen and IntelliLink connectivity come as standard.
Vauxhall's New Corsa VXR Performance Package offers even sharper dynamics, with a Drexler limited-slip differential, larger-diameter Brembo front brake discs (330mm), 18-inch alloy wheels and more focused FSD damper settings.
Based on the new GTC, this high-performance coupe produces more power and 40-50Nm more torque than any car in its class. With an aggressive 280PS, 400Nm 2.0-litre turbocharged direct injection engine, it achieves 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds and can hit a top speed of 155mph.
The new GTC VXR produces more power and torque than any car in its class: achieving 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds, it's just begging to be taken out for a blast. Packing an aggressive 280PS, 400Nm 2.0-litre turbocharged direct injection engine, it's quicker than its main rivals by 40-50Nm, and achieves a top speed of 155mph.
When you take into account its drop-dead exterior styling - including meaty 19-inch alloys - and a striking race-bred interior with sports pedals and premium VXR sports front seats, this extraordinary VXR won't just turn heads, it'll blow minds.
While the GTC VXR is based on the Astra GTC, it has a custom-built chassis - developed at the renowned Nürburgring - which transforms it into a focused, high-performance coupé with specially developed HiPerStrut front suspension, limited-slip differential and Watts link semi-independent rear suspension. Plus continuous damping control for unparalleled connection with the road. Power and performance - the new GTC VXR comes fully loaded and ready to fire.
An Eaton supercharger, 6.2-litre V8 driving the rear wheels, nearly 600bhp and a soundtrack guaranteed to make your hairs stand on end: welcome to Vauxhall’s new VXR8 GTS. Its heart is a new supercharged LSA V8, delivering 576bhp and 545lb ft of torque.
The new design’s bold graphics and shallow ramp angles emphasise width and stance. The ‘twin-nostril’ grille and an all-new fascia help to deliver both an aggressive look and an air intake surface large enough to cool the LSA V8.
New 20-inch 'blade' forged alloys wheels are wider than their predecessor’s for more grip and fitted with Continental tyres as standard, to provide exceptional performance both in wet and dry conditions.
A raft of new technologies – never before seen in this new model – mean the VXR8 GTS has come of age.
The Vauxhall Insignia VXR SuperSport delivers up to 325PS, making it Vauxhall’s most powerful series. 435 Nm torque catapults you from 0–60 mph under 5.6 seconds and then on to a top speed of 170 mph. Other outstanding features include a FlexRide sports chassis and VXR Recaro sports seats.
Injected with attitude, the Insignia VXR SuperSport says everything about performance. The 2.8-litre V6 Turbo develops 325PS and a massive 435Nm of torque, enabling 0-60mph acceleration in just 5.6 seconds. And with an unrestricted top speed, the new SuperSport realises this VXR’s true performance potential (where permitted).
But the Insignia VXR also combines power with absolute control. An adaptive 4X4 system, electronic Limited Slip Differential (eLSD), HiPerStrut front suspension system and high-performance Brembo brakes put you in total command. Because we understand that with power comes responsibility.
When it comes to identity, the Insignia VXR SuperSport has mass appeal. Available in three distinctive designs – hatchback, saloon and Sports Tourer – each model has clearly got something to say.
